The Summer Academy offers the core subjects Mathematics and English/Reading to students in grades K to 8. These courses are designed to enable students to review and master concepts that were difficult for them during the year and also to give students the edge on concepts they will learn in their next grade in September. This program affords students the benefit of a small group setting through limiting enrollment. Students will receive two hours of Math and two hours of English/Reading instruction four days per week. The Summer Academy also offers recreational/enrichment activities. Each activity targets defined skills that are crucial to the social and physical development of the student. These activities teach practical life skills and provide opportunities to hone essential social skills. Students engage in enrichment activities for two and a quarter hours daily, four days each week and attend a field trip once per week. Field trips include the Museum of Science, the New England Aquarium, Zoo and the Boston Harbor tours.

Early Bird registration for the Summer Academy will start as of March 7, 2011.
