The Lower Level is for students currently in grades 4 and 5 who are candidates for admission to grades 5 and 6. The Middle Level is for students in grades 6 and 7 who are candidates for grades 7 and 8. The Upper Level is for students in grades 8 through 11 who are candidates for grades 9 through 12.

The Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) consists of two parts: a brief essay, and a multiple-choice aptitude test which measures your ability to solve mathematics problems, to use language, and to comprehend what you read. The test is administered on two levels: Lower and Middle.

ACLC’s ISEE and SSAT prep classes prepare students to achieve a score on these tests that will lead to an invitation to attend the nation’s most respected and competitive private school.

Summer Program

This year, ACLC features a rigorous summer educational program--a chance for your child to improve his or her skills in Mathematics or English before the school year. Courses are designed to enable students to review and master concepts that were difficult for them during the year and also to give students the edge on concepts they will learn in their next grade in September. This program affords students the benefit of a small group setting. There will be no more than 7 students in a group.

This year, we offer an Elementary School Summer Program as well as a Middle School Summer Program.  We look forward to thoroughly preparing your student before the Fall term!  Please complete the Online Elementary School Summer Academy Registration Form or Online Middle School Summer Academy Registration Form.
